Dear members,
I would like to thank everyone for your time and effort that you had put in
and making this band investiture a success!
As alumni band practice is on project basis,
it will be put on hold and will update you 1 week in advance before weekly band practice resumes.
Currently, there are 5 people who will be taking Grade 5 music theory in October and they are:
Muzamir, Jun Shen, Sherman, Si Yan and Mei Eng.
If there are more members who are interested in taking the music theory,
please inform me latest by this Sunday(3rd July).

Dear alumni members,
thank u very much your time n effort in making this performance possible.
The addition of flute solo was decided to fulfil my wish to playing solo for egan.
There were many times, during sectionals that he will ask me to demonstrate for him
to mimic as quickly as possible, challenge speed playing, notes running, etc…
thus, with this song being a very meaningful one, I decided to perform it for him.
Special thanks to lina & yan ming for making the video. It might be simple (quite simple, right? Haha),
but message conveyed was effective and touched many hearts of the audience.
Flutes: va-NE-ssa, ym, sy…. slightly better (1%) than last time…
BUT… do keep the playing… it’s good for mental health. :D
Clarinets: hope u guys can continue to learn while playing.... but keep it up… :)
Saxophones: thank u again for the playing… remember,
u r the bridge between ww and brass… we need u to keep the band together.
Trumpets: the trio has improved quite well…
brid tang yuan, keep it up! perhaps, it’s time for tpt trio & band solo. :)
Tbone: Wilson, u showed us how ‘innovative’ it was to play with tissue paper!
We definitely have not seen it b4!! Thanks suhailin.
Euph: melissa… great that u r back! U impressed us a bit, wee wee bit. :D good job!
Thx junshen for ‘swopping’ tuba to eupho.
Tuba: nelson.. thx for the non-stop bass support u gave every time!!
dear SHERMAN JIA JUN! Our “older-than-jason-look-but-suppose-to-be-younger” bassist!
Thank you for your support even though u r busy with sports and work…
your positive attitude & ever-willing-to-offer-help for the band’s junior NEVER fails to impress us. Keep it up!
Percussion: despite it being small, but the 3 of you managed to support a challenging music..

I know u want to play with them while listenin to them during the rehearsal… :)
And not forgetting the conductor, Mr mohd faizal bin othman….
HAhahaha… =,=! u shld stop making me out of breath!
For those who can’t join us this evening for the performance as a player or audience, hope to c u soon.
The journey of music playing never ends as long as your passion for music is alive.

Please take note that the alumni band practice for tomorrow and next sat(22nd May)
will be cancelled, due to the preparation for leadership camp and the actual camp itself.
The weekly band practice will resume on the 29th of may at 6pm.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Look forward on meeting all of you on the next band practice.
