which will be named the National Youth Winds (NYW), consisting of school concert band members from around Singapore.
The Audition is on the 23 and 24th of this month and the application date ends tomorrow.
You have to be in between 15 - 25 of age and there is a application fee of $30.
For more details, please click here
Only Major Scales will be tested, till 4 sharps and 4 flats.
There is a reference here, which might help =)
You've to prepare a choice piece,
and a sight reading piece will be given by the BDAS at the audition.
For those who are participating 8 from the main band and 5 from the alumni,

For those who have not contributed to the band fund.
Please kindly do so next band practice =)

Thanks nelson for the contribution and suggestion =)
See all of you next band practice,
Have a great week ahead =)
*updates*
For today's band prac, no thermometer is needed,
but do leave your thermometer in sight,
just in case we need to bring it with us on the n practice (Let n be unknown)
*important note*
all schools have to implement temperature check exercise.
Being part of the school, the temperature check exercise is also applicable to us.
Thus, for the next band practice, please bring along your personal thermometer,
temperature check will be conducted before the start of the practice.
we thank you for your co-operation =)
Try to dig out the free thermometer that is given to us the other time =)
